Soft Wash

WHICH SERVICE DO I NEED?

When to Use Pressure Washing

Pressure Washing expels water at high pressure  to remove more difficult stains and debris.  Although this amount of pressure is very efficient in tackling hard to remove stains, there is a possibility that it could damage some softer surfaces. For softer materials and surfaces we suggest our Soft Washing services.

Pressure washing is best for use on surfaces like:

  • Concrete

  • Patios

  • Brick

  • Stone

When to Use Soft Washing

Soft Washing is a low pressure cleaning process that uses algaecides and cleaners to safely treat and remove organic matter such as mold, mildew, fungus, algae  and lichens in addition to dirt, grime and other staining. Rather than relying on only pressure to clean your home, soft washing uses formulated detergents to clean and also treat those surfaces to protect from future growth. Soft washing originated as an alternative to high pressure washing, which can cause damage on softer surfaces.

Soft washing is ideal for surfaces like:

  • Vinyl/Siding

  • Decks and Wooden Patios

  • Stucco and Coquina

  • Asphalt Shingle Roof

Q&A

What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to clean tough surfaces like concrete and driveways. Soft washing uses lower pressure with specialized cleaning solutions to safely remove mold, mildew, and algae from more delicate surfaces like siding, stucco, and roofs — without risking damage.

How often should I have my house washed?

Most homes in Virginia benefit from a professional wash once or twice a year, especially before spring and fall, to prevent mold, algae, and grime buildup.

Is soft washing safe for my roof and siding?

Yes. Soft washing is specifically designed for softer surfaces like asphalt shingle roofs, vinyl siding, and stucco. It uses low pressure and safe cleaning agents to remove buildup without cracking, denting, or stripping paint.

Do you offer fleet or commercial washing?

Yes, we offer recurring fleet washing and commercial exterior cleaning for businesses and property managers throughout Northern and Central Virginia.

What areas do you service?

We serve Culpeper and the surrounding region — including Northern Virginia, Warrenton, Rappahannock, Orange, and Madison counties.
